• The name Endura seemed more suitable for a “supply chain management” company therefore FourGen® changed to Endura Software Corporation in 1997.
• The program generator was developed further to give it the ability to generate code to support multiple new screen types.
• New functionality to CASE Tools enhanced and expanded the capabilities of Informix-4GL programming language.
• By 1997 over a thousand customers were using FourGen® Business Accounting, FourGen® CASE Tools and FourGen® Enterprise software worldwide.
• By 1997 around a dozen existing Business Accounting VARs were granted non-exclusive , non-transferable rights to modify and carry-on the support of Business Accounting Software for the customers and thus FourGen® started to focus entirely on FourGen® CASE Tools and the Enterprise (Version 4.0 and higher) software
• By 1998, “Order Advantage” the new web-based Order Entry system was launched.
